this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; He is going to have to look sharp against seattle because they are going to be keying on Duece. If he is real rusty how quick until u pull him because Bouman sure did not look good in the preseason....

It doesnt matter how rusty he looks Haslett wont pull him. He has invested his job on Brooks and will ride him no matter what. He showed that the last two seasons. Brooks will be fine as long as he slows the fumbles down.

As long as you need to move between the 20\'s Brooks is your guy. :P
I wouldn\'t worry about it too much. Haz will never pull him out. If Brooks were in a coma on gameday, Haz would still be wheeling him in on a gurney to run the offense. |

haslett is too gutless to pull aaron brooks. thats why venturi needs to be head coach so he can get rid of him and horn. lets trade for matt shaub or rohan davey atleast they have more upside.

Are we going to have a Venturi mention in every post this season. Yeah lets trade for Shaub or Davey. Do you really think about what you put here or just post for Venturi? He is garbage as is his defensive playcalling.

I am starting to notice that alot of your suggestions are to swap our starters for collegiate standouts. College football is INCREDIBLY different than the NFL. The talent level takes a quantum leap. College stars do not always pan out as good NFL players. I\'m an LSU fan and even I do not think Davey was all that great. He played with heart and was a good college player. However, he is not ideal NFL material. Your statements are simply absurd. And BTW LSU almost lost to the Beavers the other day. They have a really good defense but what makes you think their D could hold up to any NFL offense. Please think before you post.

first of all there is no doubt in my mind the lsu defense is better than the saints
second rohan and shaub have alot more upside than brooks and if you like LSU how in the world can you say rohan was not that good yes not only does he have heart he is a leader and he knows how to win. brooks does not know how to win and is probably one of the most overrated players in football other than horn. Lsu really would beat the saints with mauck back at quarterback. last years oklahoma team is probably better than this years saints and we all know how that ended!!!!!!!! Rohan Davey is a winner? What exactly did he win in college? National Championship? How many SEC championships? You have been wrong about everything you have posted thus far.
