Jimmy Graham Could Be Targeting As Much As $12 Annually In His Next Contract

He has a lot to prove this coming season. Was it his wrist problem that caused all the drops? More importantly right now, will this thread last through the entire year or will a new one start after next season?

I mean this in the kindest of ways- some of you are either being insincere or you have lost your frigan minds. The guys is the best TE we have ever had. I agree. But remember Billy Miller?! Cmon!! WTF happened to him? Let's see....before that we had Boo Williams....he was great for a season or two...I remember the days of Hoby Brenner and John Tice...anyone remember those guys?

Every time he dropped a pass the replay showed he was taking his eyes off the ball and looking upfield before he actually made the catch - thats just bad technique and SP will fix that

Every good WR will tell you, you catch the ball with your eyes first by watching the ball into your hands

I foresee at least 6/8more articles about Graham's contract in the next 12 months.... This yielding 6/8 more threads that we will all say the same things in.

People were blaming someone for throwing to him in tight coverage.... Maybe so but the point is moot.

Most good/receivers will tell you the same thing about that type of pass.....

"May as well catch it, your getting hit anyway".

Thats what my coach always tells the WR's, the DB's dont get many chances so when they can hit you they will lol

Like you said, your going to get hit either way just catch it lol

Just go to any d1 hoops program and offer a contract to any player not projected in the top 60. Thats somewhere around 300 eligible players

Those are cumulative stats, not performance. It's the same if drew completed 50 passes per game but had to throw 100 to do it, thats only a 50% completion rate. Jimmy is Drews go to man, and Drew throws a lot. Last year Drew threw 670 passes thats more than he has ever thrown in a regular season. As a matter of stats only Stafford threw more attempts. You seem to be misunderstanding my point. In order to be worth 12mm he needs to be clutch more than one season. Being the league drop leader means he is no where clutch.

When the game is on the line do you want to throw to a receiver with 1000 yards or one with a 1% drop rate?

Drew's go to guy is Colston, hence his near 1200 yards last year.

Gram has caught 66% and 63% of the balls when targeted the last two seasons.

I am sorry, catches, yards, and TD's are a reflection of his performance.. That's exactly how you measure his production/performance
