Holder: Saints to tender Ivory

You non-military f***s kill me...
He's fragile, he gets injured. THEY ALL get injured. Including the holy one - Drew Brees.

I look at it from the stand point that he is in my SQUAD and man, he's a tactically-excellent killer. He gets shot every once in a while, and miraculously he only gets grazed, but he always comes back and INSPIRES EVERYONE AND REALLY TAKES US TO VICTORY.

Then I come here and hear a bunch of crying babies who have never been to war and I have to put it all in perspective.

YOU are a bunch of crying babies who will never go to war. Period.

NOW you pick on a man who gives all he has each and every time for the team and you just don't understand that.

I have been to war but this is not war. It's entertainment, a business.
Ivory plays with an uncommon passion and I don't think you will find one person who would argue that fact or anyone that does not want him to do well, earn more, or stay healthy (except opposing teams on gameday).

Right now though, he's not a good fit for the Saints. We already have 3 RB's that are not going anywhere. He has become a luxury the Saints simply can't afford anymore.

I hate when people do this....compare guys that get paid Hundreds of thousands to hundreds of millions of dollars to play a game 16 Weeks out of the year to guys that put their LIVES on the line everyday for their country.

Don't compare football to war. That just makes you look like an ignorant douche...

We get that you have an emotional attatchment to Ivory...cool....

But don't get all pi$$y because most people don't share the same sentiment for him that you do.

There is turnover in football dude...always has been always will be. He's getting a tender....if he signs it cool...if he ends up leaving...you're more than welcome to continue stalking him to whatever team he goes to.

But don't talk down to other fans because they don't share the same opinion of him as you do. We're not crybabies....you're the one thats crying because no one is praising him. Has he taken us to a SB like Drew, won a playoff game for us like Duece, or put the team on his back for an entire season like he was Adrian Peterson? No he hasn't......so don't get mad cuz we don't treat him like an MVP and state facts about his injury history....
