Depending on salary what about Colt McCoy as back up?
He has more talent than he showed at the Browns.Dont think they give him much if a shot myself.He had no WR at all.

McCoy has been discussed here before and he certainly could be an intriguing option if the salary figures worked out for both sides. He would have to accept the fact that he wouldn't start without something happening to Brees, but he would be learning from one of the best QBs ever to have played the game and from one of the best offensive-minded HCs the league has seen; so maybe that would be incentive enough to entice him to sign with the Saints.

Or maybe Canfield CAN be the answer - I highly doubt it, but couldn't resist the pun.
