Whats with all of the Venturi Hate

Everbody blames Venturi for everything even though there is very little talent on defense besides the d-line. But when I get on brooks it all of a sudden becomes of a team thing. So how can Venturi shoulder most of the blame, but with brooks its just the rest of the team. I was not that big of a fan of venturi's but when u keep reading how much blame he receives for no reason the best defensive coordinator in the league could not turn this team around but a better quarterback would.
