Drew Brees: We make too much money
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; An NFL contract is what the market dictates. It is also rarely paid out in its original form; restructuring, injury, getting cut, getting traded, take a cut for the team requests..... It's really not worth the paper it is written ...

An NFL contract is what the market dictates. It is also rarely paid out in its original form; restructuring, injury, getting cut, getting traded, take a cut for the team requests..... It's really not worth the paper it is written on in most cases beyond the signing bonus and first two years.
