I doubt that. We would have taken a $7 million cap hit had they been cut.

Why can't we just cut our dead weight?
Bills did, eagles did, why can't we cut the players that aren't productive anymore

Its never that easy. There are multiple miilions of reasons why we haven't yet.

And 2012 throws in a lot of mis-information that make it difficult to determine who dead weight is.

I do hope that the restructures include severe pay cuts and no additional years on their contracts.

I can't deny it; I'm a bit disappointed by this even though it was the most probable outcome - I would've wanted a more "clean slate" beginning for Ryan's tenure with getting rid of some of the overpaid veterans.
