I think the Bears overpaid for Bushrod...

Bushrod becomes the highest-paid offensive lineman in franchise history. His $35.965 million, five-year contract averages $7.19 million per season, exceeding the contract John Tait received in 2003 when the Bears signed him away from the Chiefs. Bushrod receives $17.715 guaranteed and now J'Marcus Webb, the starter at left tackle the past two seasons, will have to figure as a backup or perhaps in a competition at right tackle.
