this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Mark my words. Tebow is going to go somewhere that desperately needs to SELL TICKETS or SELL JERSEYS. The Saints do not need any help selling tickets right now, and no one in their right mind is going to buy ...

Mark my words. Tebow is going to go somewhere that desperately needs to SELL TICKETS or SELL JERSEYS. The Saints do not need any help selling tickets right now, and no one in their right mind is going to buy a Tebow Saints jersey over a Brees jersey, with Drew's deal just inked. Denver was already in miserable shape when he got there, completely discombobulated and desperately needed a hype shot in the arm to get the PSL's renewed. The owner was all high on Tebow, then Elway got there, he took a look at the no-nonsense football side of it, and see what happened. The Jets have a pretty full stadium, but their program is such a mess they will wildly do ANYTHING to sell jerseys or generate media interest, because they are always right next to their Super-Bowl-winning bigger brother team across town.
Tebow is not a pro QB, he is a vehicle to sell BUTTS IN SEATS and MOVE MERCH. End of story. |
