Random Thoughts on trade down with BIG D

Dallas has serious need @Safety.K. Vaccaro is the top rated S in the draft and he slated to go in range the Saints pick. JERRY loves players from Texas and ARK.Saints move down to 20 and get the Cowgirls 3rd and 4th picks (#s are close on the trade chart)

SAINTS Pick Alec Ogletree OLB atheltic, fast playmaker.with tons of upside
#75 J.Collins OLB serious skill and produced on a bad team
These two picks fit our 34 and give us paymakers at OLB
#80 Barrett Jones. C, G, OT rare guy that IHMO could start at any spot on our OL
run blocks and protects
#106 Brandon Williams NT pass rushing big man would be in rotation and would eventually start. Key for success in 34
#111 Tyrann Matthieu CB/KR. Great insticnts Make splash plays when game is on the line.Tremendous. ST player with the strong. lockeroom and coaches he could be a weapon.
#137 Dion Sims TE Really good run blocker with soft hands good redzone option

#173 Denard RobinsonWR Gamechanger would be a project but is the kind of athlete that Payton could turn into a weapon. Gil Brandt
NFL scouting legend liked him a lot,, worth a 6th rd gamble
Thoughts. Comments. Opinions?

I would rather keep the pick and see us take Vacarro, unless there's an impact pass rusher who falls there.

Also, ogletree is an ILB, and while he is talented, he is also troubled. I'd hate to see us use our 1st on someone with character issues

Still don't understand the fixation on Tyrann Matthieu. If he's that great, he won't be there at 111 anyway. If he's UFA, maybe give him a look. We have enough players spending half their career on suspension. Other than that I like the list.

Agreed because I think an impact pass rusher has a better chance of being there when we pick because Cleveland signed Paul Kruger. All mock drafts have had them taking one of the 3-4 OLB's but I seriously doubt they do now. Dion Jordan will be off the board in the top 5, Ezekial Ansah will probably be off the board in the top 10, but Jarvis Jones very well could still be there unless someone trades up ahead of us. I'd rather draft Jarvis Jones than Vacarro... But that's just my personal preference.

I'm with you there. Jones is my dream pick. But if he and ansah are both off the board, I would like to see it be vacarro

Re: Random Thoughts on trade down with BIG D

I like Vaccaro and think he would be an impact player. I still would trade back to get more draft picks though. We don't usually hit on our first round draft picks anyway.
