MARGUS HUNT

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Just watched film on this guy for the first time. WOW. Talk about a dimension this defense has been lacking... If it's true that Loomis made a run at Kruger there should be no reason why the Saints don't draft ...

Anyone think he'll last until pick #75?

Re: MARGUS HUNT

75th... highly doubt it. Someone is going to fall in love with his measurables.

Re: MARGUS HUNT

I don't see him dropping that far. I've studied film of him for a few hours (not much mind you to make a decent evaluation) but he seems to have enough raw ability and the measureables to be an early second guy. He is lanky and his rip is tremendous getting under the blocker and dipping past. When blockers get into and under him he gets easily eliminated. Love his motor and his killer instinct though. He looks better to me than Kruger did as a prospect.

Re: MARGUS HUNT

We can always trade up, or trade down.

Ivory would be a nice throw in on a big-time trade up.

Ivory would be nice. Would he get us into the 30-35 range??

I think he could. He has to be worth at least a one-round trade up.

I'm fully #MargusIn. Guy is a freakish athlete with both size and speed at a position of need for us.
