Make your Pick: In the 1st round The New Orleans saints select...

Trade down for multiple picks ... just how far will be determined by the quality and quantity of our FA class. This is still a good year for UDFA... and the Saints have been particularly good with these under SP and Loomis.

Looks like a good group of 2-3 round tackles are out there. Not really feeling the Fluker thing. Rest of the list looks good, but I don't think Williams is gonna be there mid-third. Kind of liking Danno's idea of offering up Ivory plus our first for some twos, threes and fours then grabbing Williams in the second.

I actually played with and against Fluker while he was in Mississippi, and he's better suited for RT, not LT which we really need. I also believe he's a 2nd round pick. He's kind of awkward..

He is so RT its not even a debate for those that have watched him.

He has the size and power to be an absolute monster at RT in this league.

His footwork will keep him on the right side. He's just does not have Left Tackle footspeed.

I also think he may be an early to mid 2nd, maybe late 1st at best.

Exactly. One surprising thing about him, he was really fast. He played DT for a while. I watched him chase down running backs in open field. He's really gifted...just awkward and a little sloppy.

Linebackers tend to be smarter and more motivated than the DL players that we may have as options. If we are going to install a 3-4, we need a lot more smart players.

Where is BPA? Since the Saints historically draft the Best Player Allowed, why would it not be an option in the poll?
