Hasselbeck Cut
Matt Hasselbeck out in Tennessee | ProFootballTalk
I think this could be a good 1-2 year signing to back up Brees. Draft Ryan Nassib in round 3. |
Re: Hasselbeck Cut
Yeah probably a safe bet as a backup to be fair, draft a young QB to learn from Brees
|
Re: Hasselbeck Cut
I'd be all over Hasselback as a backup...
|
Re: Hasselbeck Cut
I would rather have Fitzpatrick..............but that's a pipe dream(not a crack pipe). Mary Jane is my girl.
I'm not saying no to this guy though.....Sean could possibly do good things with thim. |

i like the FA QB out there right now the pool gets better with each week
|
Re: Hasselbeck Cut
I'd imagine Hass will be a very expensive backup.
|
Re: Hasselbeck Cut
If the price was right I'd love to have him holding the clipboard. He'd slide right in should injury strike.
|
Re: Hasselbeck Cut
I like that idea as a back up. I don't see us drafting a guy at this point. Maybe next year.
|
Re: Hasselbeck Cut
Any picts of him with a clipboard?

Re: Hasselbeck Cut
What if Hasselbeck held out for more money so he COULD be released?
|
Re: Hasselbeck Cut
I would love if the Saints could sign Hasselbeck, but I seriously doubt the Saints could afford him. Plus, I think Hasselbeck could probably complete for a starting job somewhere.

Mike Garafolo says the two sides "could soon agree" to a deal. Hasselbeck, 38 in September, isn't interested in finding a team where he can compete for a starting job, but a place where he has a shot to get back to the playoffs. Mar 18 - 6:41 PM Just as easily could have been New Orleans but I think MH is the kind of guy who would enjoy being some kind of mentor for Andrew Luck |

He could join the many QBs at the Jets if he wants to compete. If he wants a ring he will find a team willing to pay him a low salary for being a back up.
It's a buyers market these days.He could be affordable if he just wants a championship. |
Well that post was a waste of time
