this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Last I read, he was still holding out, even with one of their starters out for the opener. The last update I read about it was dated Sept 6th on KFFL. Anyone know the scoop?...

Is McKenzie still holding out?
See here\'s what I don\'t get - why wouldn\'t the Packers compromise? I reckon getting rid of a problem for a 2nd round draft pick would be a good thing. Demanding a 1st, getting none, and having to keep dealing with this guy and have nothing to show for it (all the while his stock continues to drop as he remains out of football) just doesn\'t make sense to me... ???

I agree with you WhoDat, why would\'nt the deal him and be done with it, if he has a bad attitude like everyone says. I hope they are not trying to punish him for holding out, because if that\'s the case and it backfires which it usually does, coaching staff will have some explaining to do and management.
