Re: Victor Butler or Namdi Asomugha??
Of the two I'd rather have Butler. He would be very much along the lines of a Jabari Greer type of signing to me. Just starting to hit his stride and the skies the limit. Nnamdi would be nice but we need the money he's going to get.
There will be a couple of players that we can sign when cuts come around if we don't sign another player in FA. I know we will to prepare for the draft.......just sayin' Why hasn't Mack been signed? He looked good when he was on the field. |

Re: Victor Butler or Namdi Asomugha??
I'm not sure if it's a situation of one or the other with these two players, but having seen Asomugha play lights out before with the Raiders and show some flashes even with the Eagles, I'd probably go with him if the price is right. Nothing against Butler, but I haven't seen him play or I haven't just noticed him when I've seen him play, so I don't know how much signing him would actually improve the Saints' pass rush.
Oh, and Winfield and the Vikes have been in talks of him re-signing with them - kind of like what happened with Herring and the Saints. |

Butler hands down. They're plenty corners in this draft that will be ready to fill in better than Nnamdi. My eyes on Robert Alford 3rd rd
