We are desperate. Bring in 50 rookies. Better shot green than withered.

Nothing wrong with an experienced stop-gap on the cheap. It worked out very well with Sharper.

The only aging guys we're serious about are Nnamdi and maybe this McKinnie LT, which we desperately need.

And the only reason we're interested in Nnamdi is because of ties to Ryan.

Lets see a rookie LT get the 100 million dollar QB killed and the season as well.

Dude, Bushrod was terrible! You know how we always say that the LT and RT positions aren't that important to the Saints because we invest heavily in the interior of the O Line? Well that logic sprung out of having sub-par tackles and Drew having phenomenal pocket awareness and it hasn't exactly hurt the team so far. Drew has only broken every QB record. We'll plug someone in at LT whomever it happens to be and we'll be fine!

That's why Chicago chose him over all the other LT out there including Long. I hope we don't find out just how good Bushrod was over what's left on the roster. I agree he wasn't an elite LT and needed help against good DE but he was serviceable

Yeah because Chicago has made such wonderful decisions regarding their O-Line LOL. Cutler could fill you in on that! Here's a good review of the Bears signing Bushrod...

Bears sign OT Jermon Bushrod (5 years, $36M; $17.7M guaranteed): Z- Grade
I can't take this signing seriously, so I'm not grading it seriously either. The fact that the Bears think they're actually upgrading J'Marcus Webb at left tackle by obtaining Jermon Bushrod is an absolute joke. In fact, I really don't think the front office has watched a second of Bushrod's tape.

Bushrod allowed tons of pressures every week. The reason his sack total was so low was because Drew Brees released the ball so quickly. Bushrod's sack numbers will increase exponentially as he's trying to block for Jay Cutler. That means Cutler will likely miss multiple games due to injury yet again. The Bears would be better off with Webb manning the blind-side position again. I find it so ridiculous that an NFL front office would pay so much money to a pedestrian player.

Re: Bryant McKinnie LT

Both will end up in New Orleans. BM is a left tackle and maybe coach thinks he can get him to really play for a year or 2. Is he better than Bushrod, probably so.

I'm starting to think that Joker is just that... a joke account that just bashes everything the Saints are doing.
