Romeus
If, and that is a big IF, he can stay healthy, where will he play? DE or OLB?
|
Re: Romeus
I doubt he makes it to pre-season
|
Re: Romeus
You mean before he gets injured or before he gets cut?
|
Re: Romeus
34 DE IMO if he can stay healthy what a big boost to the DL. he could be one of the best steals in a draft. but he needs to be on the feild

Romeus is done. Such potential, but a career in the NFL is just not meant to be.
|
Re: Romeus
I will not count him out, he could be the wild-card we need. All that surgery and he is still here says something to me. I hope he has healed and comes back with a vengeance.

Re: Romeus
Yeah, I too hold hope for him still, but he needs to pull his sh!t together this season or he can kiss his NFL career goodbye.
I think DE is the place to put him, but he is borderline with his weight for that position and I don't know if his knees can take additional weight on his frame. Rushing OLB would probably better suit him from that weight standpoint, but again I'm not sure if his knees can take the angles outside pass rushers often have to take on their way to the QB. It's definitely a hard one, and it all boils down to his health situation and if his physique can hold up. |
Re: Romeus
I'm a big fan of his "ability", but I will have to say that he is done. I thought we cut him anyway last year... Maybe we didn't but either way he wont make the team.

I think the better comparison for Romeus so far is Adrian Arrington.

I've got a Samuel Jackson (Pulp Fiction) forum oriented meme I'm waiting for the perfect opportunity to pull the trigger on. :-)
Someone will get sassy soon enough. |

But in reality, deep below the Super Dome. We have the technology. We have the capability to make the world's first bionic man. Greg Romeus will be that man. Better than he was before. Better...stronger...faster."
Think this will screw up our cap status? |
Re: Romeus
This guy is never going to play for us and I am already over him.

Re: Romeus
I thought this Greg Romeus guy was an urban myth. You guys telling me he's real?

Re: Romeus
Wasn't he drafted with a pre-existing injury? Then he never made it to the field...or did he get re-injured before he even got to play? I don't remember but if he's on IR maybe they see something in him. I wonder if he's even going to be able to suit up this year for camp.....

I'm going to start one up about our key re-sign of Justin Drescher, and how he is one of the most under-rated Long Snappers in the league, and how he doesn't get enough credit for Thomas Morestead's success. |
