With Haslett revamping the defense with more speed and playmakers we will start seeing if this is truly our year. I know that we will all be keeping ours eyes wide open to see how much more we are improved with stopping the run and with the pass rush. With Darren Howard out this will surely be a true matchup for Will Smith against Walter Jones.

With Brooks not taking much snaps in preseason due to a strain right quadiceps I just hope that he is 100 percent and it doesn't bother him any during the game. I hope that Brooks takes his game to even a higher level this year and he is over with his past fumbling woes.

This should even be a breakout season for Stallworth. He has reported to camp less body fat and taking better care of his body so he is not be bothered with the hamstring plague. He just might earn himself a spot on the pro bowl and even get a few game MVP's.

From what I saw of preseason, I believe Al Everest has done a good job with the special teams. I honestly believe Beerman will have another pro bowl caliber year taking quite a few returns all the way.

I hope you\'re right, believe me. But I don\'t know what\'s going to happen. Either Brooks will lead or he will be hurt most of the season. Either Stallworth will have a break out year without injury... or not. Either the D-line is so good our backfield will look good, or it won\'t.

Who knows in today\'s NFL. 2 big holes, Brooks may be hurt most of the season and is the team a team, or a group of individuals.
