this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; First-Pick.com. It has a draft game that lets you do all the things a GM can do. It was fun. Thought others might enjoy....

Any reason you posted this a second time? Your first one is sitting in the nfl area.

Re: Fun draft game site
You're definitely right, we get to live out our GM fantasies...kinda, lol. That First-pick is good stuff. I gave it a shot and came out with an awesome draft you all would be proud of. I made 2 trades...you can definitely go trade crazy with it, but i tried to make it as realistic as possible and not take it too far.
My Saints draft(trades included): Rd. 1, pick 23: Alec Ogletree, LB, Georgia Rd. 2, pick 5: David Amerson, CB, NC State Rd. 3, pick 13: Brandon Williams, NT, Missouri Southern Rd. 3, pick 16: Barrett Jones, C, Alabama Rd. 3, pick 21: Cornellius "Tank" Carradine, DE/OLB, Florida St Rd. 4, pick 12: Chris Faulk, OT, LSU Rd. 5, pick 11: Stedman Bailey, WR, West Virgina Rd. 6, pick 15: Quanterus Smith, DE/OLB, Western Kentucky lol boy would i love this draft, but highly unlikely....one trade or pick could change the whole outcome of the draft so mock's are pointless, but fun. give it a shot fellas |

Re: Fun draft game site
Best Picks: Tharold Simon in the 4th , EJ. Manuel 5th
Worst Draft Move: 2014's 1st rounder and a third rounder for the right to Cordelle Patterson ( just wanted to see) What was unexpected: Makes you realize that there is interest in your pick a lot of the time.... I guess on the outside looking in it's hard to realize that there could be a potential trade during every team up.... Round 1 Pick 20 (CHI): Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee (A) Round 1 Pick 21 (CINN): Ezekiel Ansah, DE, Brigham Young (A) Round 2 Pick 20 (MINN): Arthur Brown, OLB, Kansas State (A) Round 2 Pick 29 (S.F.): Blidi Wreh-Wilson, CB, Connecticut (B-) Round 3 Pick 19 (NYG): Bennie Logan, DT, LSU (B) Round 3 Pick 27 (HOU): Brennan Williams, OT, North Carolina (C-) Round 3 Pick 31 (S.F.): Brian Schwenke, C, California (B+) Round 4 Pick 12: Kevin Reddick, ILB, North Carolina (A-) Round 4 Pick 19 (NYG): Gavin Escobar, TE, San Diego State (B) Round 4 Pick 27 (HOU): Tharold Simon, CB, LSU (A) Round 5 Pick 11: EJ Manuel, QB, Florida State (A) Round 5 Pick 27 (HOU): Rontez Miles, FS, California (PA) (C+) Round 6 Pick 26 (SEA): Garrett Gilkey, OG, Chadron State (A-) Round 7 Pick 22 (WASH): Denard Robinson, WR, Michigan (A-) Round 7 Pick 23 (MINN): Cierre Wood, RB, Notre Dame (A) |
