He definitely makes an interesting camp body. We made serviceable players with guys that don't even have a fraction of his athletic ability.

IDK, I do like that they added depth and competition at a key position, and I'm hoping that Smith will be a another "diamond in the rough" for the Saints - but I'm being cautiously optimistic since we don't really know how big of a part Kromer played in the O-line player development or if he was more of a x's and o's guy.

I guess the odds are stacked pretty high in favor of him not making the final 53.

He could become the comeback player of the year without injuries too. Im in on giving him a shot. No. 2 pick in the 09 draft. Lets roll with it hes got a camp he can prove himself.
