Is he Rich Mauti's son, the former Saint?
Yeah... think so... Before his seven years with the Saints, he was running back for the Nittany Lions in the mid-1970s. And his two sons, Patrick and Michael, played there as well. Michael is a fifth-year senior linebacker while Patrick was a walk-on wide receiver from 2005-09. Former Penn State, Saints standout Rich Mauti unhappy with speed of NCAA sanctions | NOLA.com

Penn State LB Michael Mauti has visited the Saints and Steelers.
Draft insider Tony Pauline notes that Mauti has been told by doctors that he could be 100 percent ready for contact by July. When healthy, Mauti was Penn State's best defender, but his history in that area will certainly be red flagged by some teams. Source: Tony Pauline on Twitter |
