ok what would the reaction be if the saints traded ivory our third round and first round picks for the jets #9?

I wouldn't do that trade. In this draft I don't think there is a big drop off in taLent from the 9th pick to the 15th pick.

Chris Ivory is worth a fourth rounder to me.......I want a third but seriously doubt that we'd get it.

Stand pat, screw the Jet's and their offer. Need a second rd pick, probably wont get it for Ivory so keep him, can't have enough depth at RB. Can people remember as far back as a couple of years ago when we didnt have enough RB's and it cost us.

That is an extremely expansive trade. This year he is cheap but next year he will want LT money, Graham will want best TE money, etc...

The only reason his name is even on anyone's radar is because he figured with Long being brought in he wouldn't get his LT money and he want dark on the team.

Personally I do not want a player that goes dark when he gets nervous about not getting his way.

I would rather we hold off moving up. Trading back and acquiring more picks is the most logical thing to do at this point. If that opportunity is there I think we need to pursue that.

Saints FO is probably weighing getting decent value for him and the fact that if he doesn't play, he probably walks next year wanting playing time.

Would like to see the Saints get a 3rd for him, but would take a 4th and maybe 7th in 2014.

Then trade back 10 spots if a stud is not available and throw in one of our 4ths (ours or Jets) to pick up a 2nd round pick.

They have too many holes to fill and Ivory has not proven himself over a 16 game stretch...

im all for trading him. Id let thomas go also. We have a lot bigger needs then halfback. Ingram and sproles got this. We can sign a undrafted FA for depth.

lmao i was looking at the draft chart and found it interesting the points worked out for the trade. so i was wondering what the reaction would be. it is pretty much what i thought and yes i have been told that not only am i half baked but i am close to being totally burnt.

I would take the Ivory+15th for the jets 9th pick,pre draft.It gives us the option of getting a starting LT or Star L.
But better than that it should give is the chance to get a good trade partner to drop to the end of the first and pick up a number of picks.
