Should Tim Tebow be in Ivory deal with Jets?
I've read that the Jets are interested in Chris Ivory. I think any trade with the Jets that the Saints may have should include Tim Tebow. I know we already have Luke McCown and Seneca Wallace as backups but it wouldn't hurt to bring Tebow in and see what he's got. No doubt he would do better then at least one of the backups we already have.

I though it was a second round tender on Ivory.

Re: Should Tim Tebow be in Ivory deal with Jets?
The Saints can accept pretty much anything in exchange for Ivory, but if the Jets were to hand Ivory an offer sheet while bypassing the Saints altogether - they'd have to surrender a 2nd rounder if the Saints didn't match that OS. And a firm NO to the initial question posed by this thread. |

Trade for a guy who is guaranteed to get cut and no one is interested in at all? Ummm......no.
We'd be lucky to get a 4th rounder for Ivory. But I would like to see a package where maybe we send Ivory and a late rounder and try to wiggle a 3rd out of it or our 3rd to move to their 2nd. We have + holes we need to fill with cheap players. May as well try to maximize our rookie talent. |
