Its a great spot to pick. The pick isn't high dollar (especially after the new CBA) and historically the top 5-10 picks were QB's and skill position players.
At pick 15 is about where the LB's, CB's, Linemen and DB's were historically selected. With the new rookie wage scales it's no longer taboo to select non-skill positions in the top 10. We may have 2 OG's and 3 OT's picked in the top 10 this year. Can't say I remember that ever happening before. |
