losing opener no big deal this year
Only atlanta won there opener last week. This means everyone next week at best will be 1-1 at best. I say this because atlanta has the rams next week. I don't feel atlanta can beat the rams and this is coming from the guy that picked baltimore too beat cleveland. Yes i'm from Ohio but hate the browns with a passion. Anyhow tampa may lose too seattle next week this depends on how much of a running game seattle can produce. Another thing Carolina has Kansas city this Sunday. Looks like carolina and Tampa Bay are close too being 0-2. I really do see the saints dominating San Fran bye the way. I also do consider them rivals still even though there not in are division as do I the Rams. I cringe at the thought of San Fran like i do liver.

Hey and remember the last two superbowl champs lost there openers, tampa bay lost there opener too the saints, and the patriots lost there opener too the bucs. Not only did these teams lose but the last couple years the eagles lost there openers and went too the nfc championship game both years in 2003 and 2004.

good point as long as we can cut out the mistakes that we have been doing for years. then yes it doesnt matter at all. n i really didnt think we could win but the worse part is we could have. damn it. we better beat the hell out of the 49ers.

yeah the defence played well but the offence kept stalling. This keeps the defense on the feild and tires them down once they reach the fourth. If you stop most teams running games you win most games. Too much passing = mistakes and interceptions of course Brooks only threw one interception but it was in our redzone.

losing opener no big deal this year
Losing an opener isn\'t the end of the world - it\'s more HOW we lost the opener that worries me. We lost that game the same way we lost a lot of \'em last year. We looked flat, played mistake-filled football, and generally looked inept on offense. Then again, NE got absolutely destroyed last year by the Bills in the first game of the season, so who knows....
