Reading about this guy the thing that jumped out at me was the downside as a pass rusher. But reading more I think the idea is as you say, to tie up two or three guys so our other guys can get to the QB. Hopefully it works out.

A 3-4 NT doesn't need to be a good pass rusher. Their major role is to eat space and free up the LBs to roam and make plays. Wilson, Lofton, etc should be very excited about this pick.

I didn't watch many Georgia games this past year, but the few I did (Missouri, Alabama in the SECCG), this guy really stood out to me. I remember how disruptive he was in both of those games. I am excited about this strategy, especially given our cap situation.

Yea I know. That's my point. At first I wasn't too excited but I saw him as someone who doesn't need to be a pass rusher but can make the pass rush successful by clogging up the middle. I'm sure that was the thinking behind the pick. Reading his full analysis I'm pleased with the pick as well.
