I hope he does well for the Jets. He will be the only player on that team I will root for. Except when he plays us this year. Then I hope he has 5 carries for minus-7 yards and two fumbles.

Ivory never motivated Ingram, Ivory sat the first 1/2 of the season because of Ingram. You want to know where Ingram motivation will come from? A first round draft pick that has not PROVEN he is a first round draft pick and has only this and next season left on his contract. If he ever expects to get paid he better string 2013/2014 together as seasons prove that he is a first round draft pick RB. If he only has a 2014 break out year then he will be labeled a non performer that steps it up in a contract year. |
Re: GO CHRIS GO!!!!
The draft is always fun. We get a bunch of new guys who were standout players in college and, at least for the Saints, they all seem like high value guys who should have gone higher in the draft. (Charley Brown, Gregg Romeus)
We don't know if any of these guys are difference makers or not. It's never a good idea to get too excited about rookies, especially lower round picks and UDFAs. I agree that we should be better than last year (it would be hard not to be) but the thing that gives me the most hope is Rob Ryan. Not that I'm particularly impressed with him. I don't really know much about him. But what I saw last year was a poorly coached and poorly prepared defense. There were previously solid veterans running around in circles looking like they had no idea what they were supposed to be doing. When Jabari Greer looks lost something is definitely not right. |
