They could have saved 3 million, if they would have cut him early in the offseason... If he was so bad they would have cut him when they signed Leonhard, why didn't they?

Or give the starting job to Quaddus or Bush, they have shown promise...

I think him saying we would cut Harper and me pointing out how that is inaccurate since it saves us no money to do that is more than accurate. Especially when we are up against the cap.

From my understanding we save virtually nothing. This is his last year with us, enjoy it.

Quaddus I like. Not sure if he can be full time starter or not, but definitely heads and shoulder better in coverage.

Bush I disagree with at this point

That would mean the Saints Brass would have to admit a mistake with his contract...

Saints fans not in denial know Harper can't cover, can't catch, can't tackle, but they take the good with the bad and don't want to come off as haters...but differing opinions is what makes it great...

me, hate Roman Harper's Game...

Jenkins may see more nickel, but he won't see more coin from the Saints...

Now if he has an All-Pro Season, then things change...

The Saints took a very gifted athlete who excelled at CB in college and tried to make him a safety. For whatever reason it hasn't worked. If he's moved back to CB and used in a man scheme he will excel again. He's big, strong, and fast enough. I fear JR will have the same lack of success at OLB. Only the most gifted can make a position change at the NFL level and succeed.
