Its been stated that the reason he didn't catch many INTs is because he played in the slot. And I have a cousin who goes to UT and went to all the games. He says QBs never threw his way because of coverage. He told me from what he saw he can play in the box and cover very well so most QBs tried to stay away from him altogether and when they did throw his way, usually when he was in the slot, he would quick to deflect or wraped up so there were no YAC.

Don't be stuck on the INT stat you see on paper. Look at his tape and see what he does on the field. Same thing with Keenan Lewis...not many INTs but his man hardly caught the ball... I can live without the INTs if he can keep his man from catching the ball. Something NONE of out DBs did last yr.

And from what I've heard from my cousin...the few INTs he did make were difficult catches. He says he has hands but QBs avoided throwing his way.
