And PFF ranked everyone on our 2012 defense worst in the league too. It was hardly just the safeties.

Why do people continue to reference PFF rankings only to our safeties? If the 9 players in front of your safeties suck, your safeties surely will too.

He's not a bust. No where near it. I agree he has to step up this year, but so does everyone on our defense that remains from years past. The guy is a stud, he's got so much heart and athletic ability. I want to see him succeed as a Saint, as much as anyone else on our team...

The difference between Bush and Jenkins is that Bush had a market.

So was the proof in his play when there was some semblance of a pass rush.

We get to see this season, when we had something of a pass rush he was at corner not FS and moved to FS because he was to slow.

So you don't think our safeties are a problem? If its all our DLine why did we take a safety with our first pick?

Our safeties had not INTs between the TWO OF THEM for TWO freaking years.

Quit being an apologist.

I didn't say that its all our D-line's fault. I didn't say our safeties weren't a part of the problem.

If it was all the safeties fault, why did we go after CB/DE/LB so hard in free-agency with all those free agent safeties available?

Start paying attention.

I am paying attention.

Malcolm Jenkins is one of the worst players in the NFL. I will eat crow this season if this guy somehow turns into Sharper 2.0. I just don't see it happening - even behind a better defensive line.
