Well for one, its a snow ball not a snow cone. A snow cone is a yankee thing. Hard little squares of ice with syrup on them.
A snow ball is just like snow, finely shaved ice that melts with ease. My all time fave has to be spearmint with condensed milk. Some snow ball stand once named it the grass hopper. @Homer- Hansons is New Orleans oldest and one of the first (if not the first) snow ball stands. It has been around forever and till this day, there are still lines outside the door to get in on a hot summer day. |

I get the original Party Bliz with ice cream, and I tell them don't change a thing, to make it just like the one in the picture on the cup.
Man, Hansen's in front of the Dome -- that would be the only line in the world that would possibly move slower than the Gate B line going into the Dome from Poydras on Sundays, where my seats are. Takes FOREVER to get in. Longer than it takes to get in Hansen's on a Sunday! |

I don't know - since most of the Dome went all corporate in the last three years (Dome not as fearsome as it use to be), I can see it taking awhile to "screen" those personal assistants that those fat cats bring in and still manage to write off the whole "workshop, inservice expense" on their taxes! LOL
Man, my then 11 year old daughter told me to pick my jaw up and acted like I'd been to a game before! LOL |

Really, we are, compared to everyone else, still the craziest Cajuns in sports, trust me. They're still banging the wall in the Terrace above me, still sneaking in flasks, still throwing confetti, even when its not wanted, still talking massive crap, still dancing like fools, and still about to throw stuff at any minute upon a bad call. Overall, its still fairly dangerous in the Terrace, as it should be. |
