This is clearly a move to attempt improve the placekicking. Don't we all want that? Hartley is not bad, but if you can upgrade with a possible excellent replacement, then why not? Thomas Morstead remains among the elite punters in the game today. The fact that Maltos is also listed as a punter speaks for the fact that there is little or no specialization in the kicking game in Mexico. This is to be expected.

In punting I would heartily agree. It is basically the same kick, but the placekick is from the ground quite often and relates to the motion (ei. soccer style) that the game currently employes for field goals.
Rugby is a drop kick, not a placed or grounded kick. |

I would not even blink if he comes ands beats hartleys brain out. He has had his chances. If payton saw and felt what we did in 2012 hes probably up to his ears in hartleys brain freezes also.
