Im not saying I dont believe your post, just that I think Bentley deserved to go before Jacox. I think Bentley had a great year expecially for a rookie

Hey Gatorman thats 2 weeks in a row that makes Culpepper look miles ahead of Brooks. Culpepper had a worst day against a better team, but still had enough in him to pull it together and lead a game winning drive when he has nothing to play for. Brooks has everything to play for and he had a pisspoor performance. He gave up in the game today and it hurts me to say it cause it cost us our possible playoff birth, but I told you so. Brooks doesnt have what it takes and if he does he doesnt want to give it his all for the Saints. He has no heart. Why is he sitting on the bench relaxing when we are struggling on O? Why is he not on the phone looking at the coverages or anything? Why is he just sitting there waiting to get the ball back so he can go 3 and out? He doesnt care and that is just not what a leader does. Leaders lead and Brooks doesnt lead so what good is he for us if he doesnt want to take control and lead this team to the playoffs? I dont think he is worth what we gave him. Hopefully I am wrong but it doesnt look like it.

Boy that big contract burns now doesn\'t it? What was it? 6 years $36 million? Ouch.
You know, I don\'t know if I want the playoffs anymore. The purpose of getting to the playoffs is to make a run at a championship. The Saints have no hopes of that... in my opinion. Maybe if they don\'t make the playoffs again after a late season collapse the front office will shake things up and every coach and player will have to prove himself. Maybe that way we can at least get players who care out on the field. Other than Horn and Turley, I can\'t name a Saint who plays with fire. Stallworth maybe. Deuce plays hard and is definitely our MVP, but I don\'t see him rallying the troops. |

A little comment from cnnsi :
For all those who thought New Orleans quarterback Aaron Brooks got overlooked in the NFC Pro Bowl balloting, your argument didn\'t exactly get reinforced on Sunday. In the Saints\' crushing loss at Cincinnati, when his team needed him most, Brooks missed on his last 11 passes, finishing 16-of-38 for 203 yards. Brooks was anything but an all-star in the fourth quarter, going 0-for-7 as the Bengals were rallying for the 20-13 win. This must be the other side to Brooks great potential ...... |
