Roman Harper has a Renegotiated Contract

We look stronger at safety than we do at corner. I can see a lot of three safety packages........don't forget Harper is very capable when he's blitzing. Also he is normally a good tackler, unlike last year when the whole defense sucked, couldn't tackle and the yards after contact was pitiful......but I digress. I still feel good about Harper.

I feel just OK about Harper right now. My only concern is I've never gotten a solid answer on how Ryan uses his safeties.

If he uses an in the box safety (traditional SS) then I feel really good.

If he likes interchangable safeties that require deep coverage skills (like 2 high, Tampa-2 or Cover-2), I don't feel so good about him.
