Khiry Robinson, RB
I was curious about the 5th RB on the roster now that Ivory has been traded to the Jets and given the late success we have had with undrafted RBs.
Signed by Saints, 5/13/13…In two seasons at West Texas A&M after transferring from Blinn (Texas) Junior College, rushed for 2,290 yards and 26 touchdowns and caught 60 passes for 612 yards and six touchdowns…In 2012, named to the D2Football.com All-America and first-team All-Conference as he led the Buffaloes and Lone Star Conference with a school-record 1,621 yards on the ground with 15 touchdowns while also adding 38 receptions for 430 yards and four touchdowns…In 2011, carried 103 times for 669 yards and 11 TDs while also catching 22 passes for 182 yards and two scores…Majored in sports & exercise science…Prepped at Belton (Texas) HS, earning All-District and All-Centex honors…Also lettered in track & field...Born December 28, 1989. New Orleans Saints: Khiry Robinson D2 or not +1600yds is great regardless of level. The kid runs hard. I'm looking forward to seeing him in the pre-season games. |
W.T. Sherman is my favorite General. After all he did order Atlanta to be burned to the ground.

Re: Khiry Robinson, RB
Not to take anything away for this young man. But I hope we never see him on the field. I want our other studs to just Dominate this year

Re: Khiry Robinson, RB
Looks like he has good vision and balance with nice speed, and at 6'1" and 220, he's got some good size to him. He might be the next Ivory.

Re: Khiry Robinson, RB
A couple years on the PS as an understudy to Sproles, and he just might be his replacement.

Re: Khiry Robinson, RB
His footwork and ability to cut is pretty impressive. Seems to read the gaps and where he has his blocks well as well. At the end of the day when someone like this is given a chance as your 5th stringer, you know your franchise should be in pretty good shape
