ESPNews reports New Orleans Saints RB Deuce McAllister (high ankle sprain) is expected to miss five to six weeks of action after suffering a high ankle sprain in Week 2.

Ok. Duece didn\'t report fat or out of shape. Why has his play dropped off (if it has)? I think I agree with the few that believe it is largely to do with game planning (two TE sets are just not Duece\'s bag, and the lack of use of a FB is also a factor, as well as some movement in our OL that has not seemed to click just yet - e.g. Bentley can\'t even get the ball to Brooks regularly).

Saintfan, I am pretty sure that you\'re only making these points about Duece to make a point about the misperceptions regarding Brooks.

However, I\'ve never been a Brooks hater (not even a little), and I\'m starting to wonder if there is anything at all to this Duece bashing (no offense to Danno who\'s been making this point for some time - but all you \"new\" haters please give me something I can believe). Sure his stats haven\'t been stellar in our first two games, but I don\'t see that as much a trend to base a solid inference on. Also, at the end of last season teams could (and did key on him) and we played some decent run defenses down that stretch. If people really do have some ARGUMENT that Duece is faltering (that involves something I might say smells like facts) then I\'d be quite interested in hearing it.

And... don\'t make me beat you with my eyes, because I will... :hallucine:
