Moonshiner excuses

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; http://www.nola.com/saints/t-p/index...7971324520.xml The injury comes at a time when the running game was struggling to muster yards even with McAllister in the backfield. Yeah, but, he's not getting any blocking. After two games, the Saints rank 31st in rushing offense... Yeah, ...

Yeah, but, he's not getting any blocking.

The Saints ranked 11th in rushing last season, averaging 125 yards per game.
Deuce is a top 10 back tho. ;)

After McAllister set a club record with nine consecutive 100-yard rushing games, the Saints have gone six straight games without a 100-yard rusher.
Yeah, but, he's not getting any blocking.

They have not scored a rushing touchdown since a 33-20 loss at Philadelphia in Game 11 of last season, a span of seven games.
Ummm...Brooks throws the ball too much.

The stretch of games without a 100-yard rusher is the longest for the Saints since the end of the 2000 season
Ummm...yeah, but he's not getting any blocking.

So far this season, the Saints have not had a runner make a gain of more than 20 yards.
See, he's not getting any blocking.
