I think all of us , most of us Saints' fans know only this year counts.

So right! It's nice to have history and records to debate/discuss, but in today's shallow/superficial NFL, it's all about, "what have you done for me lately?".

Anyone that can't acknowledge what a supreme effort it was for the Saints to finish 7-9 without a H/C and the conditions imposed upon them by the NFL should be dismissed anyway, IMO. No other team, with the possible exception of the Patriots, coulda' done it.

. Dominate that, Falcons.

I couldn't agree more Slo. Most seem to overlook the fact that several of those loses could have been W's. What do these so-called experts think is going to happen with SP back, a new DC and a huge boulder (not a chip) on our shoulders. I know that SP and all the players are saying the right things to the cameras but you can't tell me that Sean isn't one pissed of individual who, behind closed doors, is planning a massacre for our opponents this year. One can only hope.
