this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Ok sounds good but lets not freak out about our offense not being up to speed or declair our defense a powerhouse. This happens every year. Its normal. Still though it makes you feel good the season is officially here....

Are you excited, melancholy, happy, depressed, apprehensive? I can't tell, you start to go in many directions then fall back.

My only real concern is I just hope I don't see that 2012 look of total confusion on the field. It sounds like the players are buying what Ryan's selling. Reminds me of GW's 1st year. |

I'm so ready for the fall. Tired of this heat for one, and dying to watch the Saints and ULM.

Apparently Jordan has switched from the left side and was getting comfortable at right end this morning.
And Keenan Lewis got an interception this morning; have no idea which QB threw the ball though. |

Re: Defense dominates offense today
I really hope the D will beat the O to begin camp. Its always easier to play D right out the door, not as much based on timing and cohesiveness as on offense. You can basically play defence by getting to the ball and being in a very bad mood when you get there. And most importantly, if he D turns the heat up to begin camp it will get Brees going. He is such a competitor that he will not like getting beat in practice.
