The New Orleans Saints brought in Rob Ryan to fix their defense, which gave up a league-worst 147.6 yards per game rushing last season.

Ryan then brought in DE Kenyon Coleman, who will play on early downs as a situational run stuffer from the Dallas Cowboys.

He knows what he's getting in the defensive end, and in order to build the pass rush, first a defense has to stop the run.

"The thing about this game is you are going to be who you are and I feel like the reason why Rob Ryan and I have such a great relationship is because he knows what is going to get out of me, he knows the sense of consistency. On if it makes a difference playing a 4-3 or 3-4:

"I got drafted as a 4-3 defensive end and obviously I know where I fit as far as I’m concerned. Whether it’s a 4-3 or 3-4, I have a skillset that I do and I just stay with that."

"Obviously I feel like there are a lot of ways to skin a cat, that’s the way I look at it. I don’t really switch up my technique, somebody else may do it, but for me I’m going to be the same guy whether I am in a three technique, whether I am in a nine or in a one. I play with power and that’s kind of my thing."
