You are not misunderstanding at all. I am saying i am seeing all of the precursors, admittedly i am a little gun shy after Spags and understanding part of Ryans problem at Dallas was complexity...

This is what I pick up on, WR in interviews saying they see something different every day.

Rob Ryans defense in Dallas was about "multiple schemes"

I may be in the minority, but I'm excited about the new defense and not even worried how complex it may be. Can't be as complex as what Spags defense supposedly was. And why even worry about it? You don't have to learn it and there is nothing you can do to change it...

Wilson has been with this team what 2/3 years now and I am not on the bandwagon with him. Potential means nothing if you are not able to bring it when needed. Frankly he has not shown up much to me. Have to look at his stats but I think nothing much is there. I think he is going to be beaten out by one of our recent additions maybe be on the PS possible special teamer. Come on if u are not going to make an impact in that amount of time i don't think your chances are that good.

Hawthorne has to be a starter this year and be what he was in Seattle or someone is going to be very pissed. You dont pay what the Saints are paying him not to do so. Don't know his what it would cost to release him but it is make or break for him.
