Devery Henderson might play Sunday

An MRI revealed no serious damage to wide receiver Talman Gardner's sprained right ankle, and he could be back on the field in several weeks, Saints coach Jim Haslett said Monday.

Gardner's injury might enable rookie wide receiver Devery Henderson of LSU to be active for Sunday's road game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Just when Talman started to look like he might be taking the next step.

Bad for Talman, good for Devery. About a wash for the Saints.
