Offense, Jahri Evans look strong: Mike Triplett's first take from Tuesday's New Orleans Saints practice
The New Orleans Saints' first-string offense had its strongest performance yet in this training camp on Tuesday. They looked especially good up front along the offensive line, and they found a good rhythm both passing and running the ball in team drills.
"I think we did some good things and got the defense a little bit," said guard Jahri Evans - who stood out to me more than any other individual player on Tuesday (more on him below). "I don't know if it's just because we just put in a new package in our third down today, so they were going through a lot of things over there (on defense)," Evans continued. "But I felt as though offensive line-wise we got our hands on guys, we blocked them up and gave Drew time to deliver the ball down the field. And when he did, those guys caught 'em."
