He was being too cute with the analogy... I think it was kind of lame honestly.
Anyways, I think Duncan is jumping the gun here with Galette... but I understand the point he's trying to make. While Galette is our biggest breakout candidate, his success will be determined largely by the success of Jordan, Bunkley, Hicks, etc. I'm going to use Justin Smith and Aldon Smith as an example. When Smith is on his A game, he makes everyone exponentially better... as a does a J.J. Watt. If we get Cam Jordan's game to the next level, he can have the same type of effect. So in turn, I'd have to say our next most important player, at least on defense, would be Cam Jordan. |
