Am I that transparent?

I believe that this newly negotiated workout schedule is the culprit. It has to be that players aren't in shape and/or fully stretched up to and during camp. It's never been this bad.

I am sick of hearing about our injuries too. Can't TB & Carolina get a few?

Re: I realize that this is selfish, but

Now that my initial panic has resided, lets regroup.

We lost Butler - Pretty big loss but not a deal killer.

And we lost an aging 2-down DE that was probably gonna be replaced by Hicks, who will be a full time starter.

A veteran 2-down run stuffing DE shouldn't be that difficult to acquire after the cut downs. We can also shift a 3-tech DT over a gap and basically achieve the same thing.

Well..... Considering the circumstances a 1 game season seems to be too much at this point.

Re: I realize that this is selfish, but

Some forget about the 2011 Championship Packers team who had 15 players placed on IR during the regular season including key losses to Grant & Finley. We have decent depth at most of the skill positions but it's just time for them to step up. TRUST AND BELIEVE.

Re: I realize that this is selfish, but

A football season is a war of attrition, starting the season with the same 53 as you end the season should never be an assumption or game plan.

Everyone must plan for the long haul.

He is all about player safety, if it will potentially result in future lawsuits.

They'll get hurt now, they'll get hurt later. My advice to myself and others is to start drinking heavily. Of course, that's usually my advice to myself and others.
