we will learn nothing from the first preseason game... New defense, calls will be simplified greatly. New blocking scheme, O-Line calls will be simplified...

We'll learn how our talent stacks up against their talent. No elaborate game plans or trickery, lots of substitutions, our 1st and 2nd talent against their's.

It's all about the game between the coordinators though; you may have the superior talent, but it's all about having the right play called.

For all we know; Ryan may be putting the defense in bad positions on purpose to see who shines...

Offense I'm not worried about
