Cutting Will Smith
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I was a bit surprised at how slow and out of place Smith looked in the 1st preseason game - maybe I let the optimist in me talk me into believing that somehow this positional change would work out... IDK. ...

I was a bit surprised at how slow and out of place Smith looked in the 1st preseason game - maybe I let the optimist in me talk me into believing that somehow this positional change would work out... IDK.
Anyway, I was very disappointed with how he behaved on the field and it didn't look any better during the second watch, so maybe he could move back into a "hand on the turf" position or maybe he'll improve... but at the moment I just can't see a way he could be a starter in any of the positions available to him in this defense. |
