Camp Confidential: New Orleans Saints

NFC South Blog

METAIRIE, La. -- The first thing I noticed when watching the New Orleans Saints practice was the silence.

There was no messing around and no coaches screaming at players. Instead, the Saints looked like a veteran team that is intensely focused -- more focused than last year, when chaos surrounded the entire season. Maybe even more focused than in 2009, when the Saints eventually won their first Super Bowl championship.

Not a bad article by a writer of which I'm not too fond. I liked the Graham story.

Quiet focus means they see and understand what needs to be fixed and are busy fixing.

Good read. Much of what we have heard throughout the whole preseason. Lets hope it translates into wins.

Re: Camp Confidential: New Orleans Saints

I see our D line being improved. Our secondary is going to benefit from FA CB Lewis and Vaccaro is a baller depth is improved across the board in the secondary. OLB is the???? . Gallette and Wilson need to.contribute and stay healthy. It would be great if a young player at that position could surprise and help rush the passer.

On Offense IMHO the addition of Ben Watson could pay big dividends. I like us playing more Two TE formations. I have been pleasently surprised at our young WRs. The running game and LT are major areas of concern. It seems that those areas are Being the focused upon by our staff. Luck as concerns injuries always plays a part and we haven't been very lucky as far as that goes. Three season ending injuries so far to potiential starters.Lets hope this trend is over.. Long time to go before the playoffs. I feel as though we have a team that iscapable of winning against any other team in the leaque. We shall see. I am excited to start our journey. WHO DAT!!!
