Who is going to be "in that number" when the SAINTS play the Houston Texans on August 25th?

I wrote on the other board:

I am going to post this on the "other site" and activate the inter-board peace commission and get "he who cannot be named" on the case.

I replied on another thread:

I got a room at the Marriot Springhill just north of Reliant and if you subtract what you would have to pay to park it is only a little more to get a room for the night.

Look for us tailgating, check the HOUSTON SAINTS FANS thread. I now live in San Antonio, but I will start beating the drums and see who is going.

Skymike (otherwise known as "he who cannot be named") Let's get this thing started, we have less than two months!!!

The HOU DAT nation will be there in full force Ed. Will probably be lined up before the gates open, like we did 2 years ago. Can you believe we cant start 4-5 hours before game time, and then they run you off 1 hour after the game ends. We plan to assemble in the BLUE lot. Sorry Ed, I get my parking pass comped from a texan season ticket holder. Bloody Mary's at noon game day!!!!!!!! Then were frying and boiling.

The seats located there are bit much for us for a preseason game. Sorry. I guess we'll make our way to the upper sections for more competitively priced seats.

We can do like last time, and put our spaces together, form a Saints Caravan City and aggravate the pee pee out of Texans fans.

My wife will get tickets like she did two years ago... When your wife sends you a txt saying she got tickets the first thing you ask is where? Section 127 .. ok Row? N... How much? $70 each.

We got ours for $56 each, thought that was a pretty good deal....so I jumped on it. Still need to get that Blue Lot pass.

WhoDats, I think I better make a separate thread for this, since the other
thread says "Houston Fans" and I dont want anyone to miss out.

Our last Reliant tailgate was a raging success. We took over, were loud,
proud, and put some serious black and gold into Reliant's lot.

OK, lets get serious.

First --- Blue Lot headcout.... How may Blue Lot Passes do we
have? The more spaces we have, the more room we have.

I got my tent, big fan, coolers, and flags.

-- two things:
1. do you have to have a game ticket to get in the parking lot?
2. i cant remember my other question.

-- need a couple generators.

We don't have tickets, so I'm also curious to know if you have to have a game ticket to tailgate. Been a busy summer around here; I'm glad it's almost over and it's time for some FOOTBALL!!!!

Trying to get back to Houston...in Salt Lake right now. Envy you guys. I will say, there are quite a few Who Dats in Salt Lake. Should be back by next year can't wait.

The answer to this question is unfortunately YES.... From what I recall you do have to have a game ticket to tailgate.

Kelleye, I dont remember them checking tickets at the last tailgator. And
they screwed with us about 6 times on ticky tacky stuff.
