Re: So far, unimpressed
The only place I did not see improvement from was Ingram. What does he have Speed (No) Power (NO) so what is it that the Saints coaches see in this guy?

How about that Robinson? He looks like a Pistol!

He may be tearing it up in practice. Maybe the coaches see something we don't. |

Re: So far, unimpressed
Ingram is a Practice Pro-Bowler. And Robinson is another Chris Ivory that will do well in real games, then get traded because we put our eggs in some other basket.

Re: So far, unimpressed
Just cannot even imagine someone not seeing any improvement so far with this defense. There are definitely a few positions that will be changed when the final cut is made, but overall they look way better.
Offense clearly is still struggling with establishing the run game they want for the regular season. Two more trainig camp games for Payton to make the changes. In Payton I trust. |

Re: So far, unimpressed
Not only is the gang all here, there's a discussion of pessimism and optimism somewhere in the middle...
I think we should be concerned about OL, LB, WR, and CB, honestly. OL looks good, but not great. We're thin at WR, imo. CB, other than Greer, also looks shaky to me, though I could be talked out of that one. As for LB... yikes... lots of question marks there, after Lofton, ofc. Also, nice to see the old timers out in droves. |

Re: So far, unimpressed
There you go. Danno needs to look at the numbers they don't lie. More ot the same from Ingram close to his average for the whole of last season.
